Booxi minor software update [US/2026-08-26] from 2026-08-26 13:00 EDT to 2026-08-26 16:00 EDT

Dear clients,

An upcoming Booxi software update will be performed without service interruption and will contain the following improvements:

In the Booking Widget (v3):

• The booknow-widget-action=open parameter now opens the booking widget when the trigger is a link or a custom element, not just a button with an inline onclick.

In the Back Office:

• In the Back Office, a service in a bundle can now be clicked to edit it inline and dragged to reorder it, for both appointments and queues.

In the Booxi API:

• The Booking API now validates phone numbers against the latest international numbering rules, so recently issued number formats are accepted.
• Clients whose preferred language is Arabic or Hungarian can now be updated through the Booking API instead of returning a server error.
• The client/moduleLink endpoint now accepts the cegid_y2 module, so client records can be linked to Cegid Y2 instead of returning “module id unknown”.

In the Booxi platform:

• Reserve with Google merchant group action links without a path are now canonicalized before the API key is appended, so Google no longer rejects the feed with a canonical URL error.
• Resolved an issue where booking notification emails failed to send when the booking had no location set.
