Booxi incident [US/2026-08-11, 12] -- Elevated Errors Booking Appointments with Surveys

Dear clients,

We experienced elevated error rates affecting users attempting to book appointments for services that included a survey. Only bookings for services with an associated survey were affected; all other bookings continued to function normally.

Status: Resolved

Impact:
Appointments whose associated service contained a survey could not be booked.

Duration:
August 11, 9:45 AM – August 12, 9:45 AM (ET)

Root cause:
A security policy tightening blocked legitimate booking requests.

Resolution:
The policy has been corrected. These errors should no longer occur.

Next steps:
We are reviewing our security policy rollout process to prevent similar issues in the future.
